Is Safe Access® Lite really free?
Yes. There are no costs associated with downloading and using the software. The only requirement is that you register with an email address to receive the license key, product updates, and access to online support.

Is Safe Access Lite easy to install?
Yes. Safe Access Lite is offered as a preconfigured VMware appliance so installation only takes a few minutes. If you don’t have VMware installed, download VMware Player for free at http://www.vmware.com/products/player. Because Safe Access Lite is available in monitor-only mode, no changes to the network infrastructure are required prior to installation. Who should use Safe Access Lite?
Safe Access Lite is for people interested in deploying NAC and managing device/computer/endpoint compliance. Users should have basic TCP/IP networking skills, a solid understanding of network architecture, and an inclination toward network security issues and processes. Typical users include IT/MIS administrators, data security administrators, and network/security administrators and enthusiasts. It is ideal for small offices, remote offices, and home networks. Is support offered?
Free support is available through the Safe Access Lite online community. Product documentation and installation instructions are available on the support page. Does StillSecure offer any other free products?

Is there a way to delete all of the discovered information and start from a clean database?
Yes. At the command line in VMware login, or ssh in to Safe Access lite. Execute the command:
resetTestData.py
This will reset the discovered endpoint data and restart the necessary services. It will not reset your configured settings to factory defaults.
My license says that it's only valid for 365 days. What happens after that time is up?
All of our Safe Access lite licenses are set for one year from the date of creation. If you would simply like to extend your license, just return to the SA lite webpage and have a new license created. If you would like to extend the functionality of Safe Access, consider talking with our sales department (sales@stillsecure.com) to purchase both support and extended features.
